What’s the one thing you really enjoy doing?

There are a lot of things to choose from but an absolute favorite is finding a restaurant with a nice patio and enjoying time with friends and family. We only have a few months out of the year when it’s nice enough to do this in Texas, so I definitely take advantage. Queso, anyone?

What led you to PR as a career?

Well, growing up in Austin gave me a profound love of and respect for live music. I followed a lot of local artists and thought it would be really cool to be a publicist and help them promote their music and grow their careers. That is what ultimately made me choose this career path - though I did make a bit of a pivot away from entertainment.

What work makes you most proud?

Seeing my clients and teams succeed! My favorite part of this job is the teamwork and collaboration that takes place. Nothing feels better than to come together and reach a goal knowing you all gave your best - and maybe learned a little along the way.

What I’m doing when I’m not working…

I spend as much time as possible with my family. We enjoy being outside and can often be found at the park, on a soccer field (my husband and I play in adult leagues), or spending the weekend at the lake. I played soccer for Texas State (Eat ‘Em Up, Cats) so we make frequent trips to San Marcos to support the Bobcats - most often for football and tailgating.
