What’s the one thing you really enjoy doing?

My favorite ways to spend my time are reading, exercising, playing with my kids, and hanging out with my lovely bride.

What’s your favorite aspect of the marketing tech space?

I love helping deliver on the promise of the internet as a force for good. As a content marketer, that means making high-quality information accessible and digestible for anyone who needs it. It’s a form of “competitive helping” that I consider myself lucky to get to do every day.

What’s your area of interest and expertise?

I specialize in content-driven search engine optimization. I genuinely enjoy reverse-engineering a market’s needs and building content plans that deliver on them as a way of earning their valuable time and attention.

What did you do prior to Highwire?

Before Highwire, my partner and I built a content marketing agency called Candor. We were fortunate enough to join Highwire via acquisition in 2024.

What led you to marketing and creative as a career?

I’ve always enjoyed doing the creative work necessary to be understood, especially when that requires patience and understanding itself. I started as a writer with a genuine passion for helping business leaders tell their stories.

What work makes you most proud?

Well-integrated campaigns, designed from the ground up to deliver results greater than the sum of their parts.

If you weren’t working in marketing, what would you be doing instead?

Working as a creative in the music industry, likely doing production, composing and songwriting.

What I’m doing when I’m not working…

Lifting weights, running, reading, building lego sets with my kids, or having a glass of wine with my lovely wife.

Where are you from?

I’m from the suburbs of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

What do you miss about where you’re from?

Nothing! I’m still there! Although my wife and I have done a lot of traveling, including a year spent teaching English on a tropical island in South Korea.
