With digital technology, we tend to focus a lot on the tech piece -- but I've always been fascinated by the inherent 'humanness' of it all. Social media was so revolutionary when it came out, and it remains one of the most unique communications channels. Where else do you have that opportunity for a complete feedback loop of open and real-time conversations with your audience?

I am passionate about social media with a particular interest in executive visibility, employee advocacy and community engagement.

I spent 10 years at another agency, starting out in PR and transitioning into digital and social. Before that, I studied public relations at Syracuse with a minor in marketing and sociology, and my first job out of college was in healthcare, launching and running social media for Aspen Dental. This was in 2008 - when Twitter was first born. 

I like work where you can see all of the dots are connecting - where one thing leads to another, all of your comms activities and how they support a common goal. It’s easy for companies and teams to default to operating in silos, but when you overcome that and everything lines up, it’s really cool and impressive - everything works smarter.

I would have a daycare. But I’m not really sure - I have twins - and it feels like I’m living in one now. My mom had one growing up, and it’s great to see kids learning new skills.
