I love gardening. My early childhood was spent on my maternal grandparents’ farm in Arkansas so I caught the bug then and have never been able to kick it! 

I enjoy developing relationships with reporters. Sometimes that means I just help them out with a story idea even if it does not benefit me. 

I truly enjoy storytelling. I start by playing internal reporter and mine for hidden gems that may just lead to an unrealized story. 

Prior to Highwire, I was an independent consultant working with some cool healthcare and alternative energy startups. Before that, I owned and managed a 50-person integrated marketing and communications agency in Dallas, Texas. 

I started my career as a local market television news producer in the upper Midwest. I learned that it was not a fit for me, but knew I had the chops to help companies tell their stories to news audiences based on my training and experience.
