Executive Vice President
What’s your favorite aspect of the PR tech space?
I’m a futurist, so I love learning about cutting-edge technologies and how they will impact, well, everything. As a communications and market professional working with technology companies, I feel like I have a window on the future of business, culture and society.
What’s your area of interest and expertise?
I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of technologies, from video games, e-commerce, computer chips, cybersecurity, mobile apps, enterprise software and everything in between. I love them all, so I see myself as someone who can work with just about any technology company. In terms of marketing and communications, my expertise is helping companies tell impactful stories that reach and influence their target market.
What did you do prior to Highwire?
I’ve held senior-level positions at several of the global agencies as well as a number of well-respected tech boutiques. I was also in-house head of comms and marketing for the trade association for the home entertainment industry.
What led you to PR as a career?
I began my career as a journalist, but switched to PR because I wanted to be an active participant in business vs. an observer.
What I’m doing when I’m not working?
Writing. I’m a science fiction writer.
Where are you from?
What do you miss about where you’re from?
The dramatic, annual rhythm of the seasons.
